The Global Blockchain Business Council and its Origins

The Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) is a non-profit association based in Switzerland. Although it was presented at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2017, its origins lie across the ocean. It was in the Blockchain Summit, held last year on Richard Branson's Necker Island. This is where the idea of bringing together the world's leading companies and entrepreneurs to keep up to date with the latest innovations and advances in blockchain technology.

From there, the goal of the GBBC has always been to help companies raise awareness about the potential of blockchain technology. This promotion in companies, associations and institutions is made through the participation of regulators, business leaders and agents of global change, so that thanks to the blockchain technology safer, more equitable and functional societies can be created.
